Imagine being a young graduate of twenty-five years old, when a prestigious headhunter calls you to offer a job in the hedge funds industry. Well, when she hung up the phone, Hannah laughed, it must have been a joke. Why her? She had no experience or remote idea of what is a hedge fund. This was so far from her dream to work for an NGO and save the world. But the salary... the perks.. the ski trip for the new recruits? After a short consideration, she said yes. This was her first betrayal of herself. A long journey as a financewhore, before she realized it, it is too late, she started a path of negotiating between her values and the will to succeed. She is not the only one, there are Katarina, Vincent, Nick, Carole, and Iris, her friends and colleagues, as ambitious as her. They all betray themselves, each at a different price.
